London Fields is a 30 acre area of land in the middle of Hackney which provides residents with a very welcome oasis for relaxation and also activity. London Fields includes the famous Lido (the only heated outdoor 50m pool in London), tennis courts, cycle paths and two children's play areas. Like a number of other east London areas, it has attracted numerous artists to its environs and their influence can be seen in the number of galleries which have opened the area. Also, just off the Fields, is Broadway Market, which has become a very popular foodie meeting point!
